This beautiful piece of recycled paper jewellery uses paper taken from a copy of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen.
Sections from a page of the book have been used both to form the background panel to the pendant and then a hand folded origami roses and leaves. Please note that as each one of these is individually made with paper taken from a different page of the book, and as all the roses are hand folded by myself no two pendants will be the same. While I cannot guarantee that every pendant will feature the names of Elizabeth and Darcy, I will do my best to make sure that they include the name of at least one character from the book.
As this is one of the most famous love stories in the world this pendant is a very romantic gift for that someone special in your life and it also make a wonderful first anniversary (paper anniversary) gift. It is also perfect for Valentines day or just to tell that someone special that you love them!
Details:
The pendant comes on a 45cm (18inch) chain.
The pendant itself measures 5 cm (2 inches) by 2.5 cm (approximately 1 inch).
The paper elements will be given several coats of good-quality varnish to add strength and durability as well as water resistance.
