These recycled book earrings have been handmade using paper up cycled from a vintage copy of Ballet shoes by Noel Streatfield
a book loved by generations of girls whether they love the theatre and acting like Pauline, the ballet like Posy or if like Petrova they dream of a career in engineering or as a pilot.
While the characters in the book would not have known the words eco-friendly, reusing old materials to turn them into something new is a theme that is often repeated in the book.
As well as a gift for anyone with nostalgic memories of reading the book as a child these earrings would also make a wonderful good luck or congratulations gift for any young dancer taking her dance exams.
I do not give the gift with orders, instead a tree is planted as a day of giving back to the planet we call home through my partnership with Ecologi.
