A lovely glass Easter chick brooch, handmade by Jessica Irena Smith.
Going cheep (get it?!) for Easter, the fun, quirky design makes this little chick brooch the perfect finishing touch to any Easter outfit. Alternatively, why not make someone’s day by giving as a gift, in a party bag, as a prize in an Easter egg hunt, or just as a lovely little Easter favour?
Each chick brooch is crafted by Jessica from five layers of hand-cut glass, and requires two separate firings, with the hand-painted detail and beak added after the first. Jessica then finishes each brooch with a tie-tack fastening.
Please note: whilst every effort is made to ensure consistency, these items are handmade by Jessica from scratch, so do not have the uniformity of factory-made pieces. There will always be some variation in size, shape, colour and finish: no two batches fired are the same; no two pieces within each batch are the same. Small ‘imperfections’ should be expected and make each piece unique.
